Youth athletes face pressure to perform, greater competition, demanding schedules, extreme training along with managing academic expectations and balancing social life that can result in emotional stress and strain. Media coverage of elite athletes in recent years has emphasized the importance of athlete mental health care and necessity of integrating mind-body wellness practices such as sports therapy, mindfulness, yoga and meditation to address challenges, manage stress and promote a balanced mindset along with physical training, proper nutrition, and sleep. Our collaborative goal is to help youth excel and reach their full potential.
